Hafa Adai All, Please Save the Date for Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. as it is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and it is a time to acknowledge the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect, and to promote the social and emotional well-being of children and families. The theme for this year's National Child Abuse Prevention Month is "Building Community, Building Hope." In addition, it is also National Sexual Assault Awareness Month where we can all use our voices to change the culture to prevent sexual violence. Prevention requires addressing the root causes and social norms that allow sexual violence to exist. This year’s theme is “Engaging New Voices” I hope you’ll be able to make the Proclamation Signing and the Resolution presentation.
